Casting Out Demons

Ever thought it's possible for a man to be demon-possessed? If that's possible, what bout casting the demons out? Or are the stories in the Bible overexaggerated (Matthew 12:43-45)? What do you think?

I'm the kinda person who has to see it to believe it, until I found the meaning of faith, that is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen", as in Hebrews 11:1 from King James Version (KJV). From then on, I trust my Lord Jesus with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind.

But still, God was kind enough to show me a demon-possessed man today, in church!

Before I go on... Let me tell ya a little on the background of this man. We met him during last month's Urban Street Outreach (USO, where we go to Town to reach the homeless, and bring 'em food as a tool to connect and minister to them) at the Komtar bus terminal with many homeless people. We gave him food, and spoke to him. Thank God for the people who was with me, students from USM who spoke fluent BM! After speaking and getting it interpreted, we prayed for him, to ask Jesus to work His miracle in the man's body, which is suffering from Diabetes. Before we left, we gave him an EPCC business card and that seemed like the end...

Until... he actually made his way from Komtar to EPCC by bus last weekend! He attended the BM service, and suffered a seizure, which required the attention of Pastor L from the BM service. He was quickly sent to the General Hospital in an ambulance!

Just this morning, we met him again! He's at church, and I was running around getting some work done when Pastor L took me away, and brought me into one of the rooms, with that man. Pastor L said, "He's suffering from a spiritual attack. Let's pray for him". And I'm like, "Err, okay... what's up?" That man appeared only tired to me, with his eyes redish and droopy... Pastor L asked him to seat, and we kneeled down to pray.

The moment we laid our hands on him, he started shaking! He was making all sorts of noise, and kept shaking vigourously! By now, he's lying on his tummy, and I laid both my hands on him and kept praying, for Jesus to cast out the evil spirits in him! Pastor L kept praying in BM, while holding him down at the neck. It lasted a few minutes, until "it" seemed to have "went away". The body was motionless now, and Pastor L spoke into his ears, "Believe in Jesus! Do not doubt Him!" and kept repeating! Finally, after a while, the poor man responded... We took him up, and he was salivating badly. Washed him, cleaned up the place, and took him to the Main Sanctuary.

By now, he's alright, and asked for food. Gave him some, and he stayed on until the end of the worship session. He left for home after that, all alright! :D Hallelujah! :D

WOAH! What an amazing experience!!! :D

Father, thank You! Thank You for giving me the opportunity to see You at work! It is in Jesus' name that the demon-possessed man is now alive and well. I pray, Lord Jesus, that You'll continue to heal this person from Diabetes and from anymore spiritual attacks... Fill the void that's in him, Father, and send Angels to protect him, Lord! Also, Lord, I pray that You'll continue to use the vessels that has given their lives to You, just to glorify Your Mighty Name! I pray and ask all this in Jesus' name, AMEN!

Oh, did I also mention that he's a Hindu when we asked him during USO, and he's now a Christian? :D WOOHOO! :D Praise the Lord! :D The Kingdom of Heaven rejoices! :D
