Just Leave It to God!

Woah, imagine saying that aloud in a meeting at your workplace! And imagine this, in that meeting, you're the only Christian! Heh, I'd think the people will be stunned, and burst out in laughter or something! :S But guess what, it nearly happened to me!

There was a discussion going on, and it wasn't going the way I want. I was rolling my eyes the whole time, sighing, and there's just nothing I can do to change their minds. So they continued and soon, I was kinda fed up and I almost said, "Just leave it to God!". Heh, oops, good that I managed to control myself at the very last second! ;) The decision obviously didn't end in my favour, but I kept telling myself, "Just leave it to God"!

Well, just leave it to God it was, and I overcame it the very next day. Not knowingly, the decision made, despite not ending in my favour, is a blessing in disguise! From that decision alone, I was able to take 8-days of leave, and I'll be going to Nepal for the second time! Woohoo! Thank GOD for making it happen :D

Just days before, I mailed my manager to get 5-days off, but I didn't get a reply, and a change in schedule meant an increase in the number of days off, and thank God for the decision! If it wasn't for that, my manager would've rejected it for sure! :D

WOAH! Praise the Lord big time for this!!! :D And to end this, a verse which I think fits this incident very well... Proverbs 3:5-6 of NIV, "5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Thank you, my Lord Jesus :)

Haha...I am not sure whether to thank or scold you, cos reading this post adds to my stomachache. I was already feeling pain before reading your post, but finishing the first paragraph itself, I burst out laughing and this worsens the pain :p

Wow, to Nepal again? Good to hear that. I still remember when you left for the first time, and we were wondering where this secretive friend of ours was. Someone suggested calling Maxis (to trace your whereabouts), someone volunteered to drive to your apartment to see whether your car is there, and I even called your housemate! Haha...it's so funny now come to think of it.

Anyway, wish you all the best!
