And so, it has begun...

And so, it has begun... It's gonna be one crazy wild ride ahead of us, but we know it's gonna be fun, exciting and just great to have one another going through this ride together!

Just barely an hour after being pronounced fiancée to one another, we were in a bridal shop! Heh, well, she wasn't the spotlight there. Instead, it's one of our friends, but the thoughts of us browsing through wedding magazines, checking out venues for our dinner, of her selecting and trying out wedding gowns, and all the tasks that we'll have to so to ensure a memorable day for us, were running in my mind. Is it possible to do it by year end? Heh, well ya, that's what we're aiming for but it'll be kinda scary considering already so much on hand, and wanting to make this happen at the same time!

I didn't stop there just thinking of all the work, I went straight into action! At the bridal house, we browsed around, looked at sample photographs, and checked out the prices.

On that very same night, I went to her place to announce it to her family, mainly her parents, and we spent 1.5 hours discussing if we should do a small-scale one, or a bigger one with relatives. Wow, it sure isn't easy talking to future in-laws, especially when there is a language barrier! My bad! But there was no conclusion. What we have in mind is really a small one with our closest friends, and then a bigger one which include relatives, colleagues and others. It may be a hassle but we can't fit all into the place that we wanna hold the ceremony, the 32 Mansion. So, hopefully the conclusion will come in the next few days.

Yesterday, we went to Diamonds & Platinum and Love & Co. to check out the wedding bands. Thankfully, we kinda got that settled so quickly! Locked in on two couple (both groom and bride) designs and we'll finalised that end of this month, when the proposal ring comes back. It wasn't the right size, so we took it for a change.

Phew, and thank God for my sis-in-law's wedding magazines! Found it at night and browsed through it. It even has a checklist ad workbook which ensures I don't miss anything! Yay!

Today, we'll be checking out a Equatorial's Etoile, as a possible second venue, the bigger scale one. Who knows what's in store for us, eh? :D

Looks like it's gonna be one challenging journey all the way to the wedding day itself, but I'm sure it's gonna be fun, since we both like doing stuff like that, organising events, trying to be creative to make the venue all beautiful, and at the same time, ensure that we'll enjoy that very special day! Most importantly, I'll have her by my side throughout this journey :)
