We're on our way...!

In my previous post, I've talked bout how we decided on our bridal studio, Aspial Wedding. We have confirmed with them that we'll do the Macau package, having only to pay them RM99, and together with that, we have booked our tickets to Macau for a day's trip! Yes, it's only a one day trip! :D We'll fly from KL on Aug 21st at 6:30am, and arrive approximately 10:15am. We'll meet up with the photographer and make up artist to start the whole process at 11:00am. Let's pray that Air Asia doesn't delay this flight! The photo shoot will end at 5:00pm, and we'll have to rush to the airport to board our flight back to KL at 7:50pm. Phew! What an adventure! It's gonna be fun, fun, and lotsa fun! :D

Last week was all about trips, at least for me... I was looking at tickets for Macau, and also checking out honeymoon places. Pastor Sam recommended that we do something simple, something relaxing, and not something that we'll have to follow a tour guide to explore new places. It's because it'll be really tiring right after the wedding, and having to do all that, adapting to new place, food, and even currency may cause exhaustion. We'll go by that, but that won't be enough, in my opinion! :P So, what we're thinking is to go for a simple 3D/2N honeymoon somewhere nearby, in a place for relaxation purposes... We're thinking Bali, Krabi, Redang, and even the common place, Langkawi. Checking out the prices for both flights and accomodation, we're still within budget for another honeymoon!

With that, thinking a little out of the box, we're also planning our second honeymoon, possibly to Melbourne, at the end of April. Air Asia really makes it easy for us! :P I spent lotsa time checking out the prices of the tickets, and guess what, for two person's return ticket from KL to Melbourne and back, the cheapest ticket that we found was RM940! That's just madness, considering I paid RM3000 for one person's return ticket a few years back! Woah! But of course, with Air Asia, cheap tickets are grabbed really fast, and within hours, the RM940 tickets were gone! The next cheapest tickets are RM1480, which is still very cheap! I'm in talks with my friends in Australia to try to get free accomodation, and if we do get that, we'll definitely do our second honeymoon in Melbourne! :D Let's hope that by the next post, I would've confirmed both honeymoons ;)

We have also confirmed the wedding date, and venue. G Hotel, it is! We love the ballroom the moment we went in, and we found a place nice enough for the wedding ceremony, where we'll exchange our vows. We're also planning for the tea ceremony there, just so we'll do everything at one place, easing our guests, especially those from out of town, and some even from all the way from Australia, Singapore, etc...! 'sides, they can go next door for shopping during the four hour break that we're planning to have. The date is March 13th 2010.

We have also confirmed one of the few entertainment that we have in mind, a five-piece band, The Starz, and our actual day photographer, the talented David Thian. Ya, we may not be asking him to help us with the pre-wedding photo shoot, but we still want him to shoot one of the most important days of our lives, the wedding day itself ;)

What's next? Well, lotsa stuff! I'll be blogging bout them soon :D
